The sounds of acoustic music will once again be heard in the fields of Steeple Morden as it hosts the 2018 East Anglian Bluegrass Festival.

This popular event, now in its 22nd year, will be held over the weekend of 15th to 18th June in and around Steeple Morden Village Hall, drawing musicians and music lovers from around the region and beyond.

We have an exciting weekend planned, with great bands performing in the evening concerts. The instrument workshops booked so far include banjo and mandolin, as well as a new band workshop.  There will be jam sessions around the site culminating in our mega jam  on Sunday.

There is plenty of camping space for tents, caravans and campers. And you don't have to worry about cooking -  food will served at mealtimes throughout the weekend and cold snacks will be available throughout the days.  Not to forget the well-stocked real ale bar.

"A big thank you to Chris, Chris and all the team, at this year's festival. We really enjoyed playing Friday night and the friendly and relaxed feel of the weekend. Plenty of work shops, picking sessions and shady spots under the trees for catching up with old and new friends."

"Thanks so much for having us at the Festival this year! We had a great time playing for you and many thanks for all your warm hospitality,"

"Best festival I've ever been to in the UK. Well done Chris!"

"It's probably already been said, but I just have to contribute our thanks to Chris and the team for a fabulous festival and amazing concerts. The place was humming. What a line up. Lovely to see friends and play music in the sunshine. Lovely food. Great to see the gorgeous Kate Lissauer and the Buffalo Gals doing their stuff. They begun the weekend in grand style and ended it with a fantastic laid back jam."
